Awat Asaad
Biography
Awat Asaad is a Kurdish filmmaker born in 2004 in Erbil, Kurdistan. She studies cinema at the College of Fine Arts, Salahaddin University in Erbil. She has directed two short films, acted in several short films and plays, and designs and creates handmade jewelry. She works in photography and conceptual art, performing on stage and in cinema.
